WOMEN IN FILM AND TELEVISION NSW, THE ACTORS CENTRE AUSTRALIA and the AUSTRALIAN DIRECTORS&#x27; GUILD, are bringing together accomplished Directors, HATTIE ARCHIBALD and BINA BHATTACHARYA to workshop scenes and share their knowledge. Audience members are invited to attend the workshops as spectators. Great for Directors and Actors to observe and learn.H﻿ATTIE ARCHIBALD:Hattie Archibald is an emerging director, producer, writer and assistant director originally from rural NSW. Having worked in the industry for 10 years in the feature documentary space, Hattie switched to drama and comedy in 2019 after completing her Master of Arts: Screen in Directing at AFTRS. Her graduating project, &#x27;Gut Feeling&#x27;, a 3x12 minute comedy-drama web series was picked up by ABC Comedy + iview in 2020 and won several awards internationally, including the Audience Choice at Melbourne WebFest and Minnesota WebFest. Hattie’s recent directing work includes the ‘Down On The Farm’ special for ‘Play School’, the first episode filmed outside of the studio since 1999, and some sketches for the new Channel 7 comedy show ‘We Interrupt This Broadcast’, on which she also worked as a 1st AD. She is currently in post production on a live action adaptation of the Mem Fox picture book ‘Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge’, featuring an ensemble of non-actors and actors including Benita Collings, Bruce Spence, Lynette Curran and Maggie Blinco. BINA BHATTACHARYABina Bhattacharya is an award winning filmmaker and AWGIE-nominated feature film writer from Campbelltown in South-West Sydney. Bina was one of eight writers for the anthology film &#x27;Here Out West&#x27; which was the opening night film of the Sydney Film Festival 2021. She directed the music video for Punjabi-Australian singer Parvyn&#x27;s single &#x27;What You See&#x27;, which was featured in Rolling Stone India. Bina works as a Creative Producer - Youth and Emerging at PYT Fairfield - Western Sydney&#x27;s leading professional theatre company with a focus on youth. Bina is currently in post-production for her debut feature film, “From All Sides”, with her production company Gemme de la Femme Pictures. P﻿lease do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
