Description

We’ve teamed up film-making experts from Digital Storytellers to present a series of 3 short workshops teaching participants how to use digital storytelling for positive impact. In these hands-on sessions, learn how to tell more effective stories and discover how to find, make and edit them on a budget.

Find your impact story
Thursday 5 July

Learn how to tell a world-changing story, craft stories that resonate with audiences and build a successful campaign, using the Story Canvas tool.

Make your impact story
Thursday 19 July

Produce powerful content without expensive equipment or a big budget. Get experience filming your story using mobile devices and DSLRs and explore DIY lighting and sound, interviews and cutaways.

Edit your impact story
Thursday 2 August

Use simple tools like the Adobe Clip and Kinemaster apps to edit your story. Learn how to create short, sharp and shareable content.

This free event is suitable for people 18 years and over. Places are limited, and bookings are recommended. Bookings require attendance at all 3 workshops and bookings for individual workshops are not available.
