DIG PD - NDIS Mealtime Management Panel and Case Study
Join us for a case study and panel discussion on NDIS Mealtime Management with Naomi Sellman from Scope and Pat Jones from Swallow Ability.
We are looking forward to welcoming Naomi and Patrick to our DIG PD Calendar this year for our NDIS Mealtime Management Panel and Case Study event.
Naomi is a speech pathologist in Melbourne, Australia, who supports adults with complex physical and intellectual disabilities to eat and drink as safely as possible in all mealtime environments. Naomi works between Scope’s Therapy team and Non-Electronic Communication Aid Service (NECAS), providing direct client support, as well as coaching and capacity building for support workers in supported independent living and social connections programs.
Patrick is a mobile speech pathologist that provides dysphagia assessments, mealtime management plans and training/education to adult NDIS and DSOA clients and their care teams in SIL homes and private accommodation across Melbourne. Patrick transitioned to this caseload in 2020 following five years of experience working in acute, subacute and ambulatory care settings at tertiary hospitals in Melbourne
We hope this session will provide practical insights into NDIS mealtime management, and collaborative approaches across the continuum of care.
The WebEx link will be distributed to registered attendees prior to the event.
Please note, the panel questions and discussion for this event will be recorded, but the case study component CANNOT be recorded due to privacy reasons.
Membership occurs for a calendar year and member tickets purchased will be cross checked to the 2026 membership list. If you haven't yet signed up for membership, you can do so here: https://forms.gle/RjQCXuPGrEkY2MuE6
