Difficulty Technical Controller (DTC) Workshop
Want to better understand difficulty in artistic swimming and how technical elements are assessed during competition? Join our DTC Workshop
Artistic Swimming WA invites anyone interested in developing their knowledge of the Difficulty Technical Controller (DTC) role to attend this informative and educational workshop.
Whether you're interested in becoming a Technical Controller, expanding your officiating knowledge, or gaining a deeper understanding of how declared difficulty is assessed, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn!
Coaches are also strongly encouraged and Athletes are warmly welcomed to attend! This workshop will provide valuable insight into what DTCs are looking for during routines, how declared difficulty is verified, and the technical requirements athletes must meet to successfully complete their elements.
Understanding these requirements can help coaches make informed decisions when choreographing routines, selecting elements and preparing athletes for competition.
No previous DTC experience is required — everyone is welcome!
We look forward to welcoming you and supporting the continued development of technical knowledge and officiating across Western Australia!
