Description

Dharma Clinic with Keith Rowan
Every Wednesday 6.45pm - 8.15pm

The Dharma Clinic offers both Buddhist teachings on everyday problems that affect us all, and an opportunity to have any questions you may have on Buddhism or on life in general answered.

The first Wednesday of each month will be devoted to a different topic (such as grief, God, suffering, happiness, compassion, anxiety, anger, acceptance etc). This is an opportunity to explore an idea in depth, understand the Buddhist view on it, and to develop your skills in managing these different aspects of life.

The other sessions throughout the month will be an opportunity to have any questions you have answered. These questions can be on a wide range of subjects, from understanding Buddhist philosophy to understanding your emotions or any current challenges you may be facing. If you don't have any questions you are welcome to join and benefit from the questions and sharing of others.

Buddhism is an extremely practical philosophy. These evenings are designed to help solve real-world, modern-day problems, so that we may reduce our suffering, and benefit from a better experience of life.

You are also invited to join us from 6 - 6.45pm for a silent meditation (optional).

Both the Dharma Clinic and the meditation sessions are free (though any donations to support the centre are gratefully received should you feel inspired to give).

NB: There are no rituals, teachings are non-religious, and people of all faiths are welcome.
