Why are there age restrictions?

Due to the content of some of the PC games, Games Night is restricted to people aged 15+.

Question 2

I am not 15 yet, can I come with my older sibling or parent?

Unfortunately, at this stage, we are not able to accept registrations from minors under the age of 15, thus they cannot participate in this event.

Question 3

Why do I need to register?

It is required that all participants register to provide information and contacts in case of emergency situations, and also for minors to receive consent from a parent/guardian.

Question 4

I can't get a ticket, can I still come?

If the session you wish to attend is full, send us an email through the “About the Organiser” section below or call or text us at 0444 525 434, and we will contact you when new tickets become available.

Can I come in just to watch?

Certainly, but even if you only plan to spectate, you must register, book, and pay as any other participant would.

Question 6

Is there anything I should bring?

Accepted Answer

As the internal speakers in our PCs have been disconnected, you must have headphones or external speakers to experience sound during play. We also sell simple earbuds at the front desk for $5 each.
Other than that, you may bring your own games, peripherals, drinks, and snacks if desired.

Question 7

How do I get into the building?

Accepted Answer

We provide entry through the Market Square entrance, on the north side of the paranaple centre, for 15 minutes before each session begins.
If you arrive outside of these times, call or text us at 0444 525 434, and a Games Night Supervisor will let you in.

Question 8

Do you have EFTPOS?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we take both cash and card.

Question 9

Am I able to eat and drink there?

Accepted Answer

Yes, though we request that you take care to avoid mess or spills and that you wash your hands after eating before handling any electronic peripherals, game pieces, etc.
