This workshop has something for everyone, from the novice to the experienced, wanting to expand their skillset and confidence in the care of dental patients.

Using current and up-to-date evidence, this Workshop is aimed at developing a Team-Based Approach to drive Oral Health Programs in your clinic by expanding your skillset and knowledgebase to provide good standards of dental care.

The success of dental care is dependent on all team members working together with one common goal.

With the increasing demand for veterinary nurses & technicians to take on greater responsibilities in the care of dental patients, this workshop will cover the essential aspects of dental procedures, patient care and client communication to see you rise to be the Dental Champion in your Practice.

You will grow your skills in performing the Professional Dental Cleaning to WSAVA Global Standards, learn efficient and effective use of hand instrumentation along with a thorough understanding of your ultrasonic equipment, its correct tips and settings ensuring a safe and pain-free experience for the patient. The proper use, maintenance and care of all of your dental equipment and instruments will be covered in detail.

This hands-on workshop will provide you with the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ behind the what you are doing in clinic allowing you the skills to provide Gold Standard Care from admit to discharge and beyond for all your dental patients.
