Second Spark Studios is a local clothing line dedicated to giving secondhand gear new life with unique, one-of-a-kind designs.
During the session, you will learn all about the processes that go into creating each piece and the importance of reducing landfill wastage caused by the fashion industry. Then, you will get an opportunity to paint your own piece with guided assistance and all painting materials provided!
Don't forget to bring along your own piece of denim clothing to upcycle (we recommend a denim jacket or vest, but you can also bring jeans or overalls if you would prefer). Try a local charity clothing store if you do not already own something in your wardrobe.
Supervising adults are not required to purchase a ticket, and are welcome to stay for a cup of tea or coffee.
