About this event
Today we live in a world of laptops, beat makers and bedroom studios. Technology has made accessible all the tools needed so that anyone can become a music producer. The path to becoming a producer is no longer a linear path, if you have the calling this is the workshop for you.
In this workshop, Daniel Jauregui, Latin Grammy award-winning musician, producer, composer, and director of music studio Harmonic Whale, will be opening windows into music production. Daniel will run through how to begin, working with artists, and finalising the production of a song, while demystifying music production processes by centering cultural protocol and practice.
You will also have the opportunity to work with a local artist in the workshop and book in a one-on-one session with Daniel to acquire additional support on your personal project.
Artists include: Paul Ah Chee, Allara Pattison, Dave Arden, Benjamin Beracasa and Karina Lehman.
