DEF[X] AUS

DEF Australia (DEF Aus) is an association of military innovators and thinkers – networked around Australia and into the United States. We are based on the United States Defense Entrepreneurs Forum and endeavor to:build an environment where ideas can progress into tangible action, focused on conceptual innovation.not result in a talk-fest or forum for complaint. This is a positive association to grow, learn, and make our organisation better.

FAQs
Who can attend?
There are four categories of people who can attend:
• Junior Participants. DEF[X] Aus is targeting CPL – MAJs to come along as ‘Junior Participants’. You don’t need to have an idea to pitch at the DEF[X], you can just come along and listen. Junior leaders from all services and the department are also welcome to attend. So if you are a MAJ or below, Sign up as a Junior Participant.
• Senior Participants. A number of Senior Participant positions are also available (LTCOL and above). Please register your interest by filling out the registration form. Please note that if we hit seating capacity then DEF[X] tickets will be prioritised to Junior Participants.
• Idea Pitchers and Sponsors. If you are pitching an idea at the DEF[X] and have been formally assigned your Idea Sponsor, then you know who you are. We just need all Idea Sponsors and Pitchers to register IOT help with our administrative tracking.
