Course Summary
This 2-day live simulcast online course introduces the fundamental behaviours, principles, concepts and framework of the Australian Defence Organisations Capability Policy. The course provides the foundation knowledge for participants to understand the Defence Capability Framework and operate in a Capability Development, Delivery, Sustainment or Disposal position. As part of a broader suite of Capability Courses, this course sets the fundamental knowledge set necessary to progress to intermediate and advanced courses.
No prior knowledge is assumed.

Presenter Information
Grant Moran is a Chartered Professional Engineer with specialised expertise in delivering complex systems. He has extensive experience covering Defence related areas such as Electronic Warfare, Intelligence and Communications System while serving in the Royal Australian Navy as a Weapons Electrical Engineering Officer, in addition to hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining complex software applications.
Currently, as Industry Specialist at UNSW's Capability Systems Centre and Founder and CEO of Oscillo Labs, Grant applies his operational knowledge to address complex system integration and delivery challenges. With Master's degrees in Systems Engineering, Project Management and Capability Management, he brings practical insights into both technical and strategic aspects of modern complex system management and product development.
