Come join us online as we take a deep dive into the PREP tool

Join the APCO team for our weekly Community Meetings to explore the sustainability topics that matter most to our network. This week we are taking a deep dive into the Packaging Recyclability Evaluation Portal (PREP) – the powerful online verification tool that assesses how packaging will behave in the Australian and New Zealand resource recovery systems, and powers the Australasian Recycling Label. In this session APCO Program Coordinator Alex Dickie will be joined by Anthony Peyton from PREP Design and Adhi Karunia from Nestle to demonstrate some of the common technical queries that emerge when conducting an assessment, including: •	How weight and sizing thresholds impact packaging recyclability.•	How the conditionally recyclable Modify ARL process works and how to include an assessment to verify conditional recyclability.•	Assessing soft plastics – including how to incorporate your assessment into a project •	The role of the Technical Advisory Committee •	The range of benefits PREP provides to an organisation Please note this webinar will take place between 2:00pm - 3:00pm AEST. The PREP process provides a verified and transparent education loop between the design and the end-of-life of packaging in the Australian and New Zealand kerbside recycling systems.
