With access to a wide range of mobility and seating products, Linds invites you to join our Seating Solutions Workshop designed to connect product knowledge with meaningful client outcomes.
This Seating Solutions Workshop will address the following postural presentations:
- Posterior pelvic tilt + Kyphosis
- Obliquity + scoliosis
- Anterior pelvic tilt + lordosis
- Complex movement disorders
- Pressure care management
By the end the workshop, therapist will be able to:
- Feel confident with specific assessment techniques for the presenting asymmetrical postural presentation
- Describe the key seating supports to either reduce asymmetry towards midline OR accommodate non-reducible postures
- Have hands on experience with a variety of products available in today’s market to achieve specific seating goals
- Consolidate learning through hands on case studies and setting up seating systems.
Pre-requisites: Prior knowledge and understanding of wheelchair seating and positioning prescription recommended.
