Decoding the Code Online (July 2019)

BBI-TAITE is one of the leading Catholic providers of online theological education in the Asia-Pacific region. Online delivery enables the Institute to reach students in a variety of locations, including remote areas across Australia and abroad.

BBI – The Australian Institute of Theological Education

A  online ethics course designed for the health and aged care sectors. 
This online course is intended for executives, mission leaders, clinicians and pastoral practitioners in the health and aged care sector and its aim is to enhance knowledge and practice of the principles of Catholic ethics. By strengthening theological formation and ethical awareness, leaders and staff will have an enhanced capacity to discern issues and respond effectively within the framework of the Catholic ethical vision.
The course begins by establishing the groundwork for the Catholic Ethical Vision (sessions 1-4) and then looks to some of the concrete and practical outcomes of this vision in the context of healthcare (sessions 5-7) before allowing participants to reflect on the implications of the course for their own professional context in the concluding session (session 8). The course is constituted by an online recorded into session, followed by seven online sessions. These latter include a video presentation, reading, and online discussion, as well as optional extension resources.
