Deakin University SOE Heat Treatment Induction

This induction covers the use of the furnaces for treatment.

You may also need to register for Materials Preparation Induction - required to remove scaling produced by the material surface's oxidation during heat treatment.

Before this induction you must have previously completed the appropriate Level 1 Induction;

- SEJ010 Introduction to Safety and Project Oriented Learning unit (applicable to school of engineering undergraduate students)

- SEE700 Safety Induction Program unit (applicable to school of engineering masters by coursework students only)

- SEBE Online Lab Safety Training (applicable to school of engineering Final Year project students, HDR and masters by research students, and students and researchers from other areas of the university)

Provide proof of completion of Level 2 MATERIALS Local Area Induction - https://du_soe_materials_local_area_induction.eventbrite.com.au/

No persons will be permitted into the induction once the session starts.
