Lindsay Maxsted – Australian Businessman
The Deakin Commerce Chapter Alumni are pleased to invite you to our first Professional Development Event for 2015.
Lindsay Maxsted – prominent Australian Businessman - has been identified as one of the most powerful and influential individuals in a Boardroom.
Currently the Chairman of Westpac Banking Corporation and Transurban Group, and Non-Executive Director of BHP Billiton, he is responsible for a combined market capital which is in excess of $200 billion.
Lindsay is also the Managing Director of his own boutique private advisory firm – Align Capital Pty Ltd - and serves on the Board of Baker IDI Heart and the Diabetes Institute.
Lindsay commenced his career as a cadet at KPMG and retired from the practice in 2007 as its’ CEO.
Lindsay will share with us his remarkable career achievements to date, and also the leadership lessons he has learnt along the way. The Deakin Commerce Chapter Alumni are extremely excited to have such a high calibre speaker join us.
