After a roaring success last year, Deaf Festival Sydney is back for 2024! It will be held at the same festival venue: Cathy Freeman Park at Sydney Olympic Park.

When: Saturday, 24 August 2024 from 10am - 4pm

See performances from Deaf artists, visit the stalls of your favourite Deaf businesses and service providers, and celebrate our wonderful Deaf culture.

We can't wait to see you all together again!

Where is Deaf Festival?

Deaf Festival Sydney is taking place at Cathy Freeman Park in Sydney Olympic Park.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! Cathy Freeman Park is a dog-friendly venue. Please make sure your dog is on a leash and you pick up after them.

Is Cathy Freeman Park easy to find by train, bus or ferry?

Cathy Freeman Park is very close to the Olympic Park train station, just a 50m walk. There are many bus options to get to the Park. You can plan your trip by visiting Transport NSW at https://transportnsw.info/

Is there accessible parking if I am disabled?

There are 8 on-street accessible spaces on Showground Road and 10 on-street accessible spaces on Olympic Boulevard, which is close to Cathy Freeman Park. These spaces are free and you need to make sure you display your Mobility Parking Permit to avoid fines. There are limited car parks so also cons

Where is parking and how much is it?

The closest car parks are P1 and P8. Parking is $6 per hour or $30 per day. Have a look at the Map here to plan your journey. We understand that this is expensive for many people, so we encourage attendees to take public transport of park off-site and take advantage of a short train trip.
