On “Saturn’s Return”, the band nods to greats like Led Zeppelin and Stevie Nicks in a winding, 70s inspired psych-rock burner. The song speaks to the astrological rite of passage experienced when Saturn returns to the same place in the sky it was when we were born. Emotional and heavy-hitting, Saturn’s Return harnesses the whirlwind of heartbreak through infectious rhythmic guitar and monumental builds.
Booming, epic drums, wailing stairway guitars and a more grounded vocal than we’ve heard from the band previously, Saturn’s Return is a song that sees Dead Witch stepping into their power and taking bigger swings on arrangement and production.
