About this event

De-Choiring Together is a drop-in community ‘choir’ that explores new methods of score making to instigate vocalisations, gestures and soundmaking. Together we will experiment in bringing together voices with abstract communication and interpretation. We will look at imagery and movement as ways of making collective sound.

De-Choiring Together is born out of a previous Happening at Phoenix Central Park, De-Choiring: a workshop for new approaches to scoring. Taking the ideas learnt in this workshop we will come together to respond to abstracted scores and movement around us.

Anyone is welcome. Previous choir or musical experience is not required. While the venue is wheelchair accesible the bathroom is not. Get in touch with any questions: hi.temporaryposition@gmail.com
