Superhero Daughter Day is coming to Adelaide! Join us as we explore the exciting world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) through a range of fun activities including interactive bug displays, Lego Mind Storms, Sphero Robots, Makey Makey, VR display, building lego structure, and much more! We will even have a visit from the NAO the humanoid robot! See the FAQs for a full list of activities of the day.

What is Superhero Daughter Day?

Superhero Daughter Day is an event organised by DCC Jobs and Tech Girls Movement. Since its inception in 2016, the event has engaged over 1,000 superheroes and their parents/guardians. Beginning as a one-off event in Brisbane in 2016, Superhero Daughter Day took place in 9 cities in Australia and in Auckland, NZ in 2017. The event is now part of our yearly International Women’s Day celebration and this year, our goal is to have 3000 girls participate in Superhero Daughter Day across Australia!

Apart from participating in engaging workshops, the girls also have an opportunity to meet inspiring female role models, enjoy cupcakes and receive a goodie bag to take home. Why not check out the photos from our 2017 events on Facebook?
