DAYMODE.EXE: An actual Y2K Day Party (in a gym)

Base AttakBrunswick East, VIC
Saturday, Feb 28, 2026 from 1 pm to 8 pm AEDT
Overview

DAYMODE.EXE; a Y2K day party where 1999 glitches into 2000. Dial-up chaos, chrome fits, bounce-heavy beats. Not a throwback. A reboot.

DAYMODE.EXE // BOOTING…

It’s New Year’s Eve, 1999.

The world is watching the clock, wondering if it will flip to 2000… or if everything will crash.

Will the systems survive? Or will we be pushed into a future we’re not ready for?

Phones flip. Screens glow. The year glitches between 1999 and 2000. Suddenly we were rebooted into something new.

Daymode.exe is that party that exists at the millennium flip.

What exactly changed? No one knows.

But the dance floors evolved.

DAYMODE.EXE is an actual Y2K day party.

A daylight system override built on by bounce-heavy beats with homage to the early 2000s, nostalgia, and early-internet chaos. This isn’t a throwback. It’s a reboot.

Think dial-up tones, Windows error screens, low-res graphics, chrome fits, cyber fonts, and dance floors that feel like the internet before it was ruined.

Daylight hours. Late-night energy. High energy from 2pm.

Dress like it’s the last party before the millennium flips or the first one after it did.
Chrome. Denim. Cyber. Baby tees. Futurism gone wrong.
Pre-crash chaos or post-flip optimism. You choose.

Memory saved.

Reality suspended.

Memory is the only archive.
