LIMITED TICKETS

Baithaks were never meant to be crowded. Held at Chai Garden in Balwyn, this baithak is intentionally limited to 20 guests to preserve the intimacy and cultural authenticity of the tradition. Keeping the event intimate allows everyone to sit comfortably, connect deeply and experience Indian classical and Sufi music the way it was originally intended - up close.

SEATING

True to tradition, the baithak will feature floor seating. You're encouraged to get comfortable, sit close, and become part of the circle.

FOOD

Chai Garden is generously hosting this space, and to support the venue, guests are encouraged to make a minimum spend of $20 each on food on the evening. This ensures that the cafe is supported while we keep ticket prices low and the baithak experience accessible.

NO ALCOHOL OR VAPING POLICY

To maintain the purity of the craft and preserve the quiet, mindful setting of a classical baithak, this event is strictly no alcohol, no smoking and no vaping. The focus of the evening is presence, listening, and giving the art the space it deserves.

MUSIC

We intentionally steer away from Bollywood to hold space for genuine Indian classical and Sufi music. The artists will guide the flow of the evening and any requests within this tradition may be shared toward the end.
