For people who sew, wear what you've made, join us for cocktails and mocktails, and admire the sewing creativity of other Territorians.
About this event
Darwin's now part of the international phenomenon of Frocktails! Whether you're creating your first simple skirt with a pattern or a ballgown of your own design, join other Territorians who love to sew for a chance to show off your style.
This is a free event. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Ski Club.
There'll be prizes for the best outfits on the night including:
- newbie sewer - less than two years recent experience
- experienced sewer
- outfit featuring Indigenous fabric - Territory screen printed or commercially printed, for under 25s and over 25s.

The Fine Print
Tickets will be available until the event is fully subscribed.
Darwin Frocktails will observe all COVID requirements.
Entry to the event will be by presentation of a ticket (paper or on your phone).
Frocktails started in Melbourne and is now held all over the world. This will be Darwin's inaugural Frocktails and is being organised by volunteers. It’s a not-for-profit event.
