Dance of Color: Matisse in Motion
Wanneroo Regional Gallery proudly invites you to partake in a unique aesthetic journey: a series of curated art film screenings designed to engage, educate, and inspire. Dive deep into the world of art, exploring its myriad forms, its illustrious history, and its transformative power.
MOMA & Tate Modern’s landmark show explores the final chapter of Matisse’s career when he began ‘carving into colour,’ creating his signature cut-outs.
Beautifully filmed footage of the exhibition featuring works including The Snail, Memory of Oceania, Large Composition with Masks and Blue Nudes is interwoven with Matisse’s biography and behind-the-scenes material.
