Dalton Family Reunion 2026
Tom and Ida Dalton's descendants are invited to a family reunion celebrating their 115th wedding anniversary (on 25 February, 1911).
Welcome to the Dalton Family Reunion 2026! We are excited to announce that the get-together will be held commencing with a mass at the church they were married in, St Mary's Catholic Church, Dandenong Rd, St Kilda East.
Mass will be celebrated by Aunty Marge's son, Father Frank Jones.
This will be followed by lunch in the St Mary's Church Hall, (next door to the church).
There are two options for lunch: either bring your own picnic and crockery etc(chairs and tables will be provided for everyone), or we've organised catering which will cost $48.60 per head or $22.49 for kids under 12.
Simply Spanish from South Melbourne markets will be making paellas on site. We'll have a vegetarian option plus a traditional seafood, chicken and chorizo paella (all gluten-free). Plus fruit platters for dessert.
For the kids, we'll have chicken nuggets and chips, as well as paella for the adventurous. They also get churros and chocolate dip, as well as fruit platters and fruit juice boxes.
It's also BYO drinks (we'll provide glasses for the catered lunches). There are fridges to keep your drinks cold in the hall, so drop them in before mass and we'll keep them cold for you.
If you're bringing your own lunch we'd appreciate an optional $5.00 donation to cover the costs of the renting the hall and church, but you can make that on the day (please bring cash if you can!)
There's a great park behind the church, Alma Park, which has a lovely kids' playground for the young ones. Bring a footy for a kick or a basketball for some hoops.
