Buck Mulligan's hosted whiskey tasting event
Come in from the cold and warm the cockles of your heart with a few wee drams of the 'water of life' along with some familiar faces. Join us for a guided exploration through a selection of whiskeys; from the smooth and mellow to the rich and robust, it will be sure (to be sure) to be a grand encounter. With exclusive use of the bar from 7-9pm, guests will be greeted with a whiskey-based cocktail, before Luke McCarthy from Oz Whisky Review navigates us through insights into the history, craftmanship and flavour profiles of 5 different whiskeys.
Tickets are $50, which includes a welcome cocktail, 5x15ml whiskey tastings, and snacks to share. Additional drinks can be purchased from the bar throughout the night.
For those who are unable to attend the formal sit-down tasting, please join us after 9pm for a Guinness at the bar, raising a glass to the patron saint of Westgarth where the craic will kick on til the top o' the morning.
