About this event

Delve into the minds of a cybercriminal by learning the fundamentals of cybercrime including what motivates those who commit cyber attacks.

Gain a foundational understanding of the regulation and frameworks designed to protect individuals and organisations from cybercrime and the evolution of criminal activities. You will learn from a current Investigator for the Queensland Police Service and Cyber Crime Group and teaching fellow at Bond Business School, Graeme Edwards. Learn about the emerging and exciting careers in cybersecurity, along with how to protect yourself and organisations and respond to a cyber attack.

Please make sure you talk to your parents/guardians to obtain permission before you register.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Date: Two Saturdays, Saturday 16 March and Saturday 23 March

Time: 9am - 2:30pm (Registration at 8:45am)

Note: Students will be required to provide their own laptop or smart device.

Once registered, learners will be emailed links to the online modules - which will be delivered via the Bond University learning platform. These will need to be completed prior to attending the face to face workshop. Upon completion of all course requirements, learners will be issued a certificate of achievement.
