Event description

Description

NSW public schools are invited to join Aurora College for a 40-minute interactive presentation by the Office of the eSafety Commissioner for National Child Protection Week.

The intended audience for this event is primary school students in years 5 and 6.

This presentation supports National Child Protection Week by helping students understand the part they can play in creating a safer online community for everyone.

The students will follow the story of a group of students as they navigate trust in online friendships and learn to respect the values and rights of others online.

Students will:

  • examine values accepted and enacted within various communities
  • monitor consistency between rights and responsibilities when interacting face-to-face or through social media

Teachers, please register with your DoE email address.

Please order 1 ticket per internet connection, and limit the number of connections per school to 2.
