Capture Nature in Blue!
Lucy Pedro is a passionate visual artist from Buenos Aires who specialises in mixed media, poetry and printmaking. Leading you this creative and fun exploratory workshop Lucy will share with you this process. Stepping back in time and exploring the cyanotype process, which is one of the oldest photographic printing techniques. Using just sunlight, water and natural materials, you’ll learn how to create stunning blue-and-white prints that celebrate the beauty of the outdoors.
Hands-On Creativity!
In this playful workshop, we’ll use leaves, flowers, and textiles to design unique compositions and expose them to sunlight for magical results. All materials are provided, so just bring your curiosity and enjoy crafting art inspired by nature!
In this workshop you will
- Understand the cyanotype printing process and its history.
- Learn how to prepare and expose prints using sunlight.
- Create unique blue-and-white artworks using natural objects.
- Gain hands-on experience with alternative photographic techniques.
- Take home your own cyanotype prints and creative inspiration!
ALL materials are provided together with tea, coffee and treats

The workshop will commence at 1pm, and run over 1.5 - 2 hours, so be sure to be on time.
