Currawong Bushcare Group volunteering (2nd Sunday of the month 8am - 12pm)

Currawong Reserve is located in West Pennant Hills. The group is working in an area of Blue Gum High Forest which is listed as a Critically Endangered Ecological Community under both State and Federal legislation. This reserve contains Powerful Owl habitat as well. This group has been removing the Privet, weedy vines and annual weeds, allowing for native regeneration to occur. Planting has occurred in areas of low resilience.

Everyone Welcome! No experience necessary. This groups also stops for morning tea and a chat.
