"Balance the Scales: Empowering Women Through Security and Leaders"

FREE Community Event

This International Women's Day celebration will bring the community together to honour women, featuring a vibrant , creating a welcoming and empowering atmosphere for women of all ages.

Join us on Wednesday, 25 March 2026 at Granville Centre from 10:00 am-12:30 pm.

In additon to a vibrant mix of information stalls, food, and community giveaways in the main hall, please register for these 4 mini workshops designed to strengthen women’s skills and independence:

1. Financial Literacy Workshop – (10.30am - 11am) - Presented by Faiza Jawad Centre for Women's Economic Safety - The session will help women make informed, safe financial decisions and reduce vulnerability.

2. Digital Skills Workshop – (10.30am - 11am) - Presented by Rebecca Di Noia Business & AI Integration Advisor - This workshop will support women in navigating technology safely, building digital confidence, and using tools such as digital trackers.

3. Career Confidence Workshop – (11am - 11.30am) - Presented by James Mulligan -Brunell, Breakthrough, You, Empowered - This workshop will provide resume reviews, LinkedIn photos, and interview tips to support women’s economic independence and safer futures.

4. Leadership Lightning Workshop – (11am - 11.30am) - Presented by Dilvan Birkan, Auburn Health - Short, energising sessions focused on public speaking, advocacy, and community leadership, helping women strengthen their voices and participate more actively in decision‑making.
