Saturday, Apr 18 from 10:30 am to 12 pm
Overview

Learn all about fermenting and making your own healthy, probiotic rich foods.

Fermented foods are packed full of enzymes, vitamins, minerals and probiotics, which have a myriad of health benefits. These goodies assist gut health by promoting the growth of healthy flora in the intestine, enhancing the digestibility of foods. Fermenting is a great way to preserve food while still keeping it raw and full of nutrients.

Carol from Cultured Living will demonstrate how to make kombucha, sauerkraut and milk kefir.

You will also learn general rules and tips for fermenting, how to incorporate cultured foods into your diet, and how fermenting can be part of a sustainable, budget conscious lifestyle.
