Culturally Safe Practice: Responding to Family Violence in Multicultural Communities

This module is a collaborative partnership with The Sexual Assault and Family Violence Centre and Cultura. Designed for professionals who work with and support multicultural women in the Barwon region.

This training will provide participants with a shared understanding of family violence, and guide culturally safe practices when working with multicultural communities.

This session is open to professionals working in the Community Service Sector including: housing/homelessness services, family services, maternal and child health services, health services and justice.

Cost: Free

Duration: 3 hours

Location: In-person at The SAFV Centre, Geelong West

Cancellations

  • All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to the training team at training@safvcentre.org.au
  • Sessions may be cancelled and your registration fee refunded if registration numbers do not meet the minimum requirements to proceed.
  • Registrations for this session close one week prior to the event
