Cultivating Calm and Vitality

A 2.5-Hour Experiential Workshop

Feeling tense, wired, overwhelmed… or simply out of balance?

Join us for a nourishing Nervous System Reset experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and learn simple, practical ways to calm your nervous system and restore balance.

This gentle 2.5-hour workshop blends Qigong, meditation, breath, and guided reflection to support self-regulation, emotional balance, and a deeper sense of calm.

What this workshop is about

In today’s fast-paced world, many of us live in a constant state of “doing” — driven by a critical, fearful mind that keeps us on high alert. This workshop offers a space to pause, soften, and reconnect with your authentic, creative self — the part of you that feels grounded, compassionate, and empowered.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • How stress shows up in the body and mind
  • The difference between the critical/fearful mind and your authentic self
  • Why compassion (not pressure) supports real change
  • How simple, embodied practices can bring you back into balance

What you’ll experience

✔ Gentle Qigong movements to support flow, posture, and grounding
✔ Guided meditation to calm the mind and settle the nervous system
✔ An understanding of why breath matters — including the physiological benefits of breathing low and slow
✔ Practical tools to help you self-regulate and reset in everyday life

You’ll also learn how posture, grounding, breath, and movement work together to support your energy (Qi), emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing.

Who this is for

This workshop is suitable for beginners — no prior experience with Qigong or meditation is needed.
Perfect if you:

  • Feel stressed, tense, or overwhelmed
  • Want tools to calm your nervous system
  • Are curious about Qigong, meditation, or mind–body practices
  • Want a gentle, supportive space to reconnect with yourself

About your facilitators

This workshop is co-hosted by Carol Buchanan - Moveon Counselling and Dee Nolan - Qi with Dee.

  • Dee is a Level 2-White Belt Qigong Instructor, bringing a grounded, accessible approach to Qigong practice.
  • Carol is a counsellor, hypnotherapist, and former nurse, with Level 1 Qigong Embodiment training and extensive experience supporting emotional regulation, stress management, and mind–body wellbeing.

Together, we create a safe, welcoming space focused on practical learning, compassion, and empowerment.
