Do I have to be registered with Carer Gateway to attend?

Yes, this group is for Carers in unpaid caring roles registered with Wellways Carer Gateway. If you are not yet registered with us, you can contact us at 1800 422 737 to complete the registration process or get a ticket for an upcoming event and we can start this process for you.

Who is an unpaid Carer?

An unpaid Carer is someone who provides support for a friend, family member or loved one who is frail aged or living with a long-term illness or disability (including mental health). You can check if you are eligible here https://www.carergateway.gov.au/about-us/eligibility-checker

Is there parking available?

Free 3-hour parking is available across the road at Westfield Mount Gravatt (formerly Garden City). Undercover parking is available beneath the library

Starting Tuesday 3rd February and held every week in the Carers Hub, this self-led session offers a welcoming space to pause, enjoy fresh croissants, and connect with other Carers in an informal and supportive environment.

Drop in to share conversation, or simply enjoy the company of others who understand the caring role. No agenda—just time, connection, and good food.
