Come along for a fun-packed and interactive workshop where kids will learn all about local waterways!
Come along to this educational and hands-on outdoor event to learn about the different creatures that call Logan's waterways home.
Our waterways are home to some unique and wonderful creatures. Find out how everything fits together in the aquatic food chain and what you can do to help keep our waterways healthy.
Kids will get the opportunity to forage for waterbugs. Don't miss the opportunity for your kids to get curious and connect with nature!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER:
- This event is designed for children.
- Suitable for ages 5 years and older with parent/guardian supervision.
- This is an outdoor event along a waterway.
- You must register and secure a ticket for all children attending (adults are not required to register). Spaces are limited.
- Detailed event information will be sent to the email address provided upon registering.
INFORMATION FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT:
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the event to check in.
- Please wear fully enclosed shoes (that can get wet), sun-smart clothing, hat and sunscreen. Bring along drinking water, insect repellent and a snack (optional).
- This event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions aren't suitable. We will notify you via text and email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event.
