This Valentine’s Day, step away from usual traditions to cut, paste and pause with local artist Sarah Davis.

Create at Dogwood

This program is a series of facilitated creative and movement-based workshops designed to support the mental health, physical wellbeing and connectedness of the local community. Bringing together contemporary art practices, gentle physical exercise and mindfulness techniques this program offers participants the opportunity to use creativity as a support tool in their well-being. Learn to express, explore and heal through this ongoing series of engaging workshops in the supportive environment of Dogwood Crossing. All experience levels are welcome.

Suitable for ages 13+

This Valentine’s Day, step away from usual traditions to cut, paste and pause with local artist Sarah Davis. Create an intimate story using mixed media in this collage workshop where expression is the key.

Dedicated to self-care, reflection and play, this low-pressure art experience will see you using a mix of magazines, textures, colours and words to construct a personal narrative via collage - no art skills required! Materials will be supplied however, participants are encouraged to bring along material to add such as old love letters, cards and any other personal items that can be cut up and used to tell your story.

Whether you come alone, or with a friend, this workshop offers a supportive, welcoming environment to slow down, and experiment with process. It is perfect for beginners, creatives and anyone looking for a creative outlet.
