About the facilitator:Vivian Paans is a transpersonal art therapist and within her practice she works with a wide variety of sensory mediums. She feels intrigued by the workings of mind and soul and as a self-taught mixed media artist has discovered the power of creativity to connect with the core of her being.

Mundaring Wellness Centre

This workshop is for parents and caregivers of children of any age, who are struggling with the recent happenings in the world, relating to Covid19.The uncertainties of the future, finances, travel, being able to see friends, grandparents and other family members, and on top of that homeschooling!We focus on building resilience, learning coping mechanisms, and finding a renewed sense of energy, passion and inspiration. We will start to open the conversation and change the stigma around mental health amongst parents and our young people.Before lunch we are making dream-catchers and for the self care component you will learn a simple massage technique for relaxation.No art experience neccessary, just a willingness to be open and explore 🌸Come along if you feel you need extra help, tools and skills to support your self and your children throughout these times.This workshop is sponsored by the Shire of Mundaring and MIFWA and are FREE to participants!!All materials and lunch provided.🙏🏼🌿
