Event Information
Description
Creative Reuse Classrooms - Master Class for EYL & Primary School Educators
In this 3-hour Master Class for EYL & primary school educators, our Creative Reuse specialist will demonstrate the potential of "waste" to shift participants' perspective on what we consider to be valuable and what we deem to be "rubbish".
Our facilitator will guide you through our design processes and construction techniques, plus demonstrate how they can be easily transferrable to a classroom of children.
It's a great opportunity to meet likeminded Educators plus be inspired by the RGQ warehouse space.
Objectives
-
Through the hands-on experimentation with our materials, educators will leave with a portfolio of ideas to help incorporate creative reuse principles into the learning environments of their classrooms.
-
Participants will confidently identify the difference between 'recycle' and 'reuse' and how we can reduce our demand and consumption of new materials in the classroom on a daily basis.
What to Expect
-
Participants will be hands on, making their own creations using the ideas and techniques discussed.
All participants who register to one our professional development classes will receive a 20% discount on raw materials to spend in-store during the week of our Educators' Series.
+
A Certificate of Completion for participation in the Creative Reuse Master Class or Virtual Classroom.
