About this event

A gentle, skills-building group for little learners

Creative Foundations is a small, art-based early intervention group designed for children aged 2–5 who benefit from extra support with communication, social connection, regulation, and fine-motor/hand skills. Each session blends playful art-making with therapist-led strategies that children can use at home, kinder, and in the community.

Who it’s for: Children aged 2-5 who are curious, creative, and may need a little extra support with:

  • Following routines and instructions
  • Turn-taking, sharing and waiting
  • Expressing needs/feelings and engaging with peers
  • Regulation (big feelings, busy bodies, sensory needs)

We welcome families with or without NDIS. No diagnosis required.

  • Warm-up & co-regulation: simple routines, movement, and sensory set-up
  • Art invitations: structured + open-ended activities (painting, collage, clay, mark-making)
  • Skill coaching: visual supports, modelling, prompting, positive reinforcement
