About this event
JFA Purple Orange is a social profit organisation on a mission to create a world where people who live with disability get a fair go at what life has to offer.
Our capacity building projects include delivering workshops, peer support networks and leadership opportunities for people who live with disability and their families.
Join us to find out more about the work we will be doing in 2022 in the Limestone Coast.
Our Voice SA (OVSA): is a self-advocacy group for adults living with intellectual disability. Members come together to learn about self-advocacy and speak up about things important to them.
Disability Elders of All Ages (DEAA): strengthens connections between people with physical and sensory disability. Activities include peer networks, workshops on technology and an online resource centre.
SKILL (Strengthening Knowledge Ideas Links & Leadership): is a project made up of NDIS workshops, peer networks and leadership development. It is designed for people living with disability, their families and carers who want to take charge in their lives.
Disability Inclusion Training increases people's knowledge and confidence to incorporate inclusive practices in their personal and professional lives. The training is appropriate for those with minimal prior knowledge of disability, as well as an updated perspective for those with significant sector experience.
The Enabled Youth Disability Network (EYDN): is run by and for young people living with disability to amplify their voices across South Australia.
