Join us on July 11th at 11am to create a beautiful clay bird windchime that will add a unique touch to your outdoor space!
Come andJoin me for a beautiful, hands-on clay workshop in my ceramic studio in Wellard 🌿
In this relaxed and welcoming session, we’ll be working with a gorgeous thick, groggy brown clay (BRT) to create your very own bird windchime — a unique piece to hang in your garden or home.
You’ll learn how to:
• Form a small pinch pot for the body and attach a small slab
• Sculpt a super cute bird head
• Create either beaded legs or tube-style legs
• Paint decorative patterns to personalise your piece
I will take you through the process but you are most welcome to do your own design, be creative!
Once created you will leave it with me to dry. I will fire your pieces twice and glaze with a lovely glossy finish. I will put it all together ready for you to pick up after approx 3 weeks
This workshop is perfect for total beginners or anyone simply craving a few peaceful hours playing with clay. No experience needed — just come along, slow down, and enjoy the simple joy of creating something beautiful with your hands.
You’ll leave feeling relaxed, inspired, and excited to see your gorgeous bird windchime hanging in its new home.
All materials provided.
