A slow, creative zine making session exploring generosity and the Give To Gain spirit.

📖 Make a Little Zine About Generosity

This International Women's Day, we’re slowing down to celebrate the Give To Gain campaign - exploring the beautiful ripple effect of women supporting women.

In this special edition workshop, we’ll be using paper, glue, and intention to capture what it means to give without subtraction and gain through multiplication. Whether it’s a zine about a mentor who lifted you up, a guide to everyday kindness, or a collage of women who inspire you, let’s put it on paper.

✨ What's Included:

• A variety of papers — recycled, coloured, and textured.
• IWD 2026 themed prompts and "Give To Gain" typography cut-outs.
• Collage scraps, magazines, and creative imagery.
• Stickers, washi tapes, pens, scissors, and glue.
• Mini printer access for adding personal text or photos.
• Tea, coffee, and light snacks to fuel your creativity.

👜 What to Bring: Just yourself — all materials are provided! Optional: In the spirit of "Give To Gain," feel free to bring a small "offering" to the communal scrap table—a spare sticker, a cut-out quote, or a piece of pretty paper to share with a fellow maker.

💫 What to Expect: A slow, playful, and collaborative session where you can:

• Reflect on the power of reciprocity and support in your own life.
• Experiment with collage and layout ideas in a judgment-free zone.
• Connect softly with others in a relaxed, mindful space.
• Swap & Share: You’ll have the option to make a "collaborative page" or swap your finished zine with someone else, embodying the spirit that when women thrive, we all rise.

This workshop is offered in two separate session times, both featuring the same activity. Please check the ticket types carefully and select the session time you’d like to attend when booking.

The closest car park is at Broadway Shopping Centre, 1 Bay St, Glebe. Hours: 6am – Midnight.

Rates:
0–2 hours: Free
2+ hours: $11 per hour
After 6pm (exit before midnight): Free

Street parking is also available nearby, though restrictions vary.

Note: This venue isn’t wheelchair accessible. We’re sorry for the limitation and are always on the lookout for spaces that welcome everyone.
