Description
Registration & light supper from 6:45pm, training starts at 7pm.
This session is designed for clerical & multidisciplinary health professionals to assist them to gain the knowledge & confidence they need to safely recognise and manage a cardiac arrest emergency in the general practice setting.
Simon Gould, from Medics for Life, will run this 2.5hr training course, where you will receive the latest updates on CPR guidelines & techniques.
Key learning objectives:
- Systematically and effectively identify and manage scene hazards prior to applying CPR to the cardiac arrest patient in a general practice setting
- Safely manage the airway of an unconscious patient using barrier devices and techniques set out in ARC guidelines
- Safely apply CPR procedures including the delivery of effective ventilations and compressions
