Description
This nationally accredited CPR training course session will provide participants with updated knowledge and skills in performing CPR.
AUDIENCE: Primary care health professionals and support staff
SPEAKERS: BLS First Aid
TOPICS:
- DRSABCD Action Plan
- Management of an unconscious casualty who is not breathing
- Management of an unconscious casualty who is breathing normally
- Special considerations regarding CPR
- Cross infection
- Introduction to the use of a defibrillator
This training satisfies the RACGP CPR requirements. On completion General Practitioners will receive a certificate of competency that can be submitted to RACGP as evidence.
From 1 January 2018, you must have a USI to be issued with a statement of attainment for any Nationally Recognised Training. To obtain a USI visit www.USI.gov.au and click on ‘Create a USI’.
