CPR & Defibrillator Awareness - All the knowledge and practical skills of CPR and defib, minus the certificate!
This informative, in person session will be presented by Community First Responders.
Come along to gain knowledge and practical skills relating to CPR and defibrillation use, minus the certificate.
Topics will include:
- Identifying the criticality of a medical emergency and knowing who to call and when
- The most effective ways of accessing emergency help in varying situations and locations
- Managing an unconscious, cardiac arrest and choking patient
- How to improve female cardiac arrest survival
The information shared will be relevant to adults, children and infants.

A complimentary morning tea will be served after the session.
Participants should wear clothing and footwear suitable for exercise (i.e., closed toe shoes) and bring a water bottle with them. Participants are advised to consult with their healthcare provider if they have or suspect they have a medical problem or any health risk factors before participating.
