Thursday, Mar 26 from 11:30 am to 1 pm
Overview

A workshop facilitated by Women's Health In the South East (WHISE) exploring ways to communicate with care, confidence and respect.

How do you choose the right words when conversations get tough?

This session explores how language, tone, and active listening can shape safer, more supportive interactions – especially in moments when someone may be considering disclosure.

You’ll gain practical tools to communicate with care, confidence and respect.

Facilitated by Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE), the session will guide you through:

  • strengthening your self-awareness and recognising your own boundaries
  • deepening your understanding of why it’s essential to challenge victim-blaming attitudes and responses that minimise someone’s experience.

Registrations essential. Tea, coffee and lunch provided.

When and where is the session?

The workshop will be held at the Harold Holt Centre Group Fitness Room on Thursday 26 March from 11:30am-1:00pm.
