Country in the Hills - Carter & Carter Concert

Just half an hour from the city, the picturesque Perth Hills are home to some amazing cafes, restaurants, wineries and shops. Not only is the vibe relaxed and casual, the Perth Hills offer up stunning views of the city and plenty of opportunities to get out and about in nature.But unfortunately, in the words of Joni Mitchell “You don’t know what you got till it's gone” are encapsulated in major disasters, like bushfires but also in the crises that affect our personal lives. Why not set aside some time to just stop and celebrate what we have now?

Introducing “Country in the Hills 2017”

A relaxed country music event “on the lawn” of the Connection Centre, Stoneville Road Mundaring. Bring your family along, a picnic blanket and enjoy some of Australia’s best Country music in Carter & Carter and John Callaghan.

Carter & Carter, (survivors of the Black Saturday Victorian Bush Fires) released their first single ‘Stand Tall’ from the Better Day Album this year with a supporting video clip. “This album project has a definite concept of bringing people together through music.”

John Callaghan grew up in the rugged WA mining town of Kalgoorlie/Boulder, where he got his love of the land and its people.

Proceeds from this event will support Connections Counselling WA - a not for profit organisation that was instrumental in providing counselling after our own Recent Stoneville Bushfires.

Escape the hustle and bustle of your busy life; come and enjoy a welcome respite and a place to relax, whilst enjoying the unique Australian talent. Bring a picnic tea or buy a burger/sausage sizzle. Children are encouraged to dress up as cowboy/girl ... adults too if you're game!
