Overview

Got a cosplay costume which needs a quick fix? Drop into the Textile Lab and get your costume back in action.

Got a cosplay costume which needs a quick fix before Pop BAM? Drop into the Cosplay Costume Repair Workshop at the Textile Lab and get your costume back in action.

This hands‑on session is a relaxed repair zone for ages 16+ to patch, stitch, reinforce and problem‑solve their cosplay outfits and accessories. Whether it’s a torn seam, loose armour, broken strap or last‑minute costume drama, we’ll help you troubleshoot and level up your look.

With guidance and support from Angela White and the Textile Lab team, participants can access basic tools, materials and practical tips to make fast, wearable repairs. Basic level sewing experience is required—just bring your costume and a willingness to experiment.

Perfect for cosplayers, makers, gamers and anyone getting Pop BAM‑ready.

Suitable for: Ages 16+
What to bring: Your cosplay costume (or problem piece!) and anything you think will be helpful for your repair (zips, straps, buckles, fabric etc).

There will be a 30 minute lunch break around midday so please bring some lunch.
Presented by: Textile Lab, with support from Angela White
