About this event
We're going ahead with our event even though some showers are predicted. So pull on your raincoat and walking shoes, grab your brolly and head down to enjoy the Cooper Park gully.
We’ve teamed up with Greening Australia and National Parks & Wildlife Service to help you connect with the amazing plants and animals that live in our local bushland reserves.
Our Cooper Park bushland neighbours morning will include opportunities to:
- plant a native shrub
- hear about wildlife living in the park
- connect with the rainforest along our Go Slow nature wellness trail
- join a plant ID walk featuring some of our rare and special native plants
- create habitat for lizards and insects
- learn how you can help protect our native plants and animals.
Tools and gloves for tree planting will be supplied. BYO water and wear sturdy enclosed shoes for walking.
Meeting Point: We’ll be near the Grand Stairs at the Victoria Road end of the park.
Registrations: please register online to help us manage numbers.
